Send Group SMS/Text

1. Tap  'Group SMS' Button, quickly send a SMS to all your group or smart group members. Does not need to select contacts one by one. (Guide)

2. A SMS distribution list allows you to sms multiple people at one time. It is very useful if you have contacts with more than one phone number. You can easily add and delete phone numbers in a distribution list.

Smart Groups

"Smart Group" -- a way of quickly organizing your contacts together.

Creating a Smart Group is as simple as going to 'Smart Groups View' and tapping the plus icon (+) in the top right corner. Then give your group a name and set of criteria. As new content is added, meeting your guidelines, the group will automatically update.

Here are some ideas for useful smart groups.

Upcoming Birthdays:
Interested in who might have a birthday this month? Set the birthday criterion to include entries that occur within the next month. (This will include all birthdays within a month of the current date when you click to view the group.)

Think of the Notes field as a loose tag field:
The notes field in Address Book extends the power of Smart Groups just a bit. After returning from London, I added the business cards of people I met and added the note 'London' to each one. I then made a Smart Group where the Note contains 'London' and now I've got an easy way to see the group of people I met at London.

Settings (Sort Order)

The display order is the same with iPhone address book.

How to change the display order?
Going to 'iPhone Settings App' and tapping the 'Mail, Contacts, Calendars'. Then give your Address Book a new display order.

How to change the sort order?
Going to Settings view and tapping 'Sort Order'. Then choose a desired sort order. This app has 4 sort orders: First, Last, company and Nickname.
